Franklin D. Roosevelt large portrait signed as President, measuring 16'' x 21''. Portrait by artist John Doctavoff was done in 1933, the same year that the President signs along the bottom margin, ''Franklin D. Roosevelt''. Portrait is accompanied by a letter on White House stationery signed by FDR's secretary Missy LeHand, dated 6 July 1933 indicating that the President was ''very glad indeed to sign the picture''. Print measures 16'' x 21''. Some abrasion to the left of signature, possibly removing an inscription, light uniform toning, and some mousing at extreme edges. Overall in very good condition.
