Elsa Einstein typed letter signed, dated 29 March 1934, shortly after the Einsteins emigrated to Princeton from Europe during World War II. Elsa writes to her cousin Erich in German, translated in part, ''Of course you will come to New York with us, to the Passover Seder as well as to the concert!...Monday is going to be a very hard day for me, and my husband will already have early Monday morning appointments as well...Sunday, Albert will be able to have a stroll and a look around Princeton with you...[handwritten] Elsa''. Single page letter measures 8'' x 10.375'', with hole punches at left edge. Very good condition. With full translation.
