Translated from German, Einstein writes to her cousin Erich, arranging a time to meet over the holidays. Letter reads in part, ''On Sunday, we will be in New York for lunch at the home of Stephen Wise, the well-known rabbi...Unfortunately, I cannot invite you to lunch there, since we are guests ourselves and are bringing our Miss Dukas along...Saturday...we will be having a large family from New York...[signed] Elsa...''
