Coffee mug for ''The War Wagon'' given by John Wayne to stuntman Frank McGrath, who worked with Wayne in many of his films. Starting in the early 1950s, Wayne famously started giving custom-made coffee mugs to the cast and crew of his movies. Although their design differed with each movie, they all had the signature gold handle. This mug reads ''Frank From Duke'' on one side and ''The War Wagon'' on the other, underneath an illustration of the armored stagecoach from the film. With The Mug Shop stamp on the underside, the company owned by Bob Williams who coordinated the manufacture of the mugs for Wayne. Measures 3.5'' tall and 3.375'' wide, not including handle. Light wear, overall very good condition.
