One of the more uncommon lithographs created and signed by Norman Rockwell, the artist proof for ''Ben Franklin's Belles'' (or ''Ben's Belles''), featuring Benjamin Franklin as the ladies' man of Parisian intellectual circles. Signed ''Norman Rockwell'' in pencil along bottom and also identified as an Artist Proof with ''A/P'', artwork was originally created by Rockwell in 1963 for ''Poor Richard: The Almanacks for the Years 1733-1758'', published by the Heritage Press in honor of the Almanack's 230th anniversary. Lithograph was produced in a limited edition of 200, with the artist proof as the most collectible. Visible portion of lithograph measures 16'' x 19'', double-matted and framed to 27.25'' x 30.5''. Not examined out of frame, but appears near fine.
