New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1886. Rarely found so well-preserved, with a straight binding and no rubbing to the gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Top edge gilt. Some writing in pencil to free endpapers and small bookseller label to front free endpaper. One of only 1,250 copies of the first edition issued in publisher's forest green boards, this one being in near fine condition.
