Ernest Hemingway signed ''A Farewell to Arms'', inscribed on the flyleaf, ''For W.N. Gardner / wishing him all good luck / Ernest Hemingway.'' New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1929. Bound in publisher's black boards, with red paper labels. Measures 5.75'' x 8.25''. Some sunning to spine label, and light shelf wear. Front joint torn slightly at top edge. Overall very good condition. An attractive example of Hemingway's classic, nicely signed by him.
