Pablo Picasso autograph, signed ''Picasso 27 Juin 1916 / Paris''. Picasso pens his fountain pen signature within an autograph book owned by Harry Lachman, the artist and film director. Dozens of autographs populate the book, including the rare autograph of Sergei Diaghilev, art critic and founder of the Ballets Russes. The Mexican painter Angel Zarraga also handwrites Paul Cezanne's famous quote about color theory in French, ''When color is at its richness, form is at its fullness''. With many other charming quotes, sketches and musings throughout, including a paw ''autograph'' of a dog, whose silvery photograph is attached to the last page of the book. Autograph pages measure 5.5'' x 7.25'', housed in a softcover suede wrapper with silk moire endpapers, measuring 6'' x 8''. Cover reads ''Interesting People That Have Met Me / 1909''. Minor wear, with book starting to detach from spine at bottom edge. Overall very good condition with autographs in both pen and pencil, some on slips glued to the pages. A full list of individuals who signed the book is included.
