Signed boldly by Rowling, without inscription, in black felt-tip on the title page, authenticated by Beckett with its stamp, certification number A73047. All first printing points present, including price of $16.95 on dust jacket and ''The Guardian'' quote on back, as well as purple diamond pattern on book's boards. Previous owner's gift inscription present on half-title page, with child's name written on verso of page. Mild discoloration and cocking to boards, overall very good condition. Small closed tear to top of dust jacket, overall in very good plus condition.
