Abraham Lincoln magic lantern slide, taken by photographer Samuel M. Fassett in Chicago on 4 October 1859, the photograph that Mrs. Lincoln said was ''the best likeness she had ever seen of her husband''. Glass slide photograph is #O-16 in the Lincoln photo canon, and measures 4'' x 3.25'' including casing. Slide is originally from the collection of the Keystone View Company. Very good condition with excellent photographic quality.
