John Entwistle of The Who personal notebook, filled with over 16 handwritten lyrics to his songs, including lyric drafts never before seen. Songs include ''Too Late the Hero'', ''Talk Dirty'', ''Love is a Heart Attack'' (original and alternate versions), ''I'm Coming Back'', ''Fallen Angel'' (original and alternate versions), ''Lovebird'', ''Dancing Master'', ''Sleeping Man'' (original and a ''new chorus''), ''Back on the Road'', ''Countryside Boogie'', and ''Try Me''. Notebook with psychedelic-style flowering covers also includes two pages at back of a word lyric game entitled ''Flippers'' handwritten by Entwistle. Lyrics are mostly composed in ballpoint and black felt-tip, all on separate pages, with Entwistle almost never writing on the front and back of the same page. With 34 pages in total handwritten by The Who band member. Journal measures 8.25'' x 11.75''. A few pages removed from center, ostensibly by Entwistle, otherwise near fine condition.
