Robert Watson oil painting, measuring 16'' x 12'' on masonite board. Signed ''R. Watson'' at lower left. In this painting emblematic of Watson's work, two figures appear against a surreal watery landscape. Watson's best known work is the cover art for the second edition of Ray Bradbury's ''The Martian Chronicles'', printed in 1953. Minor chipping to edges, in very good plus condition.
