What is as bright as a new silver dollar? What is so old that its new? What makes me want to stand right up and holler? My love Beansie darling for you. But who is as lonesome as he can be? Who is it will always cherish thee? Who is the one who is dying to see, You Beansie darling? It me." "If I were King If love was a peasant and I were King On an island that knew no hate I'd happy be, I'd laugh and sing I'd treat him, Oh, first rate And in my Palace where I abide And live life all alone I'd keep this peasant by my side Perhaps give him my throne For love reigns well, and I have read In stores old and new That happy paths you'll always tread If he resides with you I think that he comes from above He always reigns supreme You Beannie are that Peasant, Love The King is but a dream."
