Helen Keller signed copy of her book, ''Let Us Have Faith''. Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Co., Inc., 1940. Keller inscribes the front free endpaper in pencil, ''For Margaret Smith / With warm greetings / Helen Keller / November 27th, 1942.'' In this brief 78pp. book, Keller describes the role of faith in her life and writes from her experience that ''Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure.'' Bound in green boards with ''H.K.'' blind embossed to front cover. Housed in original dust jacket showing price of $1.00; light chipping and dampstaining to jacket, overall very good condition. Browning to endpapers, otherwise book is in vintage, near fine condition.
