Hand-painted manuscript page from the liturgical text ''Book of Hours'', from Italy circa 1450. Double-sided vellum is beautifully rubricated in bright blue and red with long filigrees. Each side contains 14 lines of Latin text; translated words include God, Mary, Kindly, Tribulation, Father, I Pray, Everlasting and Piety. Measures 3.5'' x 4.75''. Light soiling along left edge, overall near fine given age.
