Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt Christmas card, sent during FDR's term as Governor of New York from 1929-1932. Card shows New York's First Family with their dog, with the printed greeting, ''Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from The Governor and Mrs. Roosevelt''. Sent to Roosevelt's personal physical therapist Helena Mahoney, whose name is written on the verso. Card measures 4'' x 3''. A bit of ink smudging, overall very good condition.
