Original Associated Press teletype from 28 November 1963, entitled ''Kennedy Memorials'', in the aftermath of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. Teletype reads, ''Proposals for memorials to the late President Kennedy range from highways and schools to silver dollars and postage stamps. / They include an airport, a cultural center, parks, squares, dams, reservoirs, libraries and scholarships. / Kennedy's name would be borne from the Cape Cod National Seashore to a theater on the campus of the University of Hawaii...Another suggestion is that the Peace Corps which the late President founded be renamed the Kennedy Peace Corps...'' Teletype measures 8.5'' x 9''. Staple puncture to top right and some toning, overall very good condition.
