Interesting Benito Mussolini autograph letter signed with his initial, dated 16 February 1928 when Mussolini served as Italian Prime Minister and also Duce of Fascism. In this letter to Finance Minister Giuseppe Volpi, Mussolini writes about ''Provvida'', a fund for state employees that was notoriously used as a slush fund for corruption. Upon ''Il Capo del Governo'' stationery, Mussolini writes, ''Dear Count Volpi, / I am sending you this information concerning Provvida's sales. The total annual revenue is in the neighborhood of 70-80 million. / An imposing sum. / M. / 16 February 1928 - Year VI''. Single page letter measures 5'' x 8''. Small punch hole, otherwise near fine. With full translation.
