Benito Mussolini autograph letter signed, datelined Rome, 3 September 1926 when Mussolini served as Italian Prime Minister and also Duce of Fascism. On ''Minister of Foreign Affairs'' stationery, Mussolini writes to his Finance Minister Giuseppe Volpi, in full, ''Dear Volpi, I am sending you this serious letter from the heroic and unfortunate De Rossi, for you to take action. / It cannot be tolerated that the Fascist Government should be weakened in such a way. / Mussolini / Rome, 3 September 1926''. Mussolini might be referring to De Rossi Del Lion Nero, an Italian Consul stationed in Morocco, when the Rif War between Spain and Morocco was being fought. Single page on card-style stationery measures 7'' x 8.75''. Single fold and small punch hole, otherwise near fine condition.
