Sendak replies on the verso of a 30 March 1978 letter from Sonia Landes, an elementary school teacher. In full, ''To be picked up by Mrs. Sonia Landes / From M. Sendak / Dear Sonia, Will call you (or you me) when I'm home in Cam. (Monday). Have a few questions - Loved to see you! Maurice''. Letter on blue stationery measures 6.25'' x 8''. Ink sketch measures 2'' x 1.5''. Very good condition.
