As President, Andrew Jackson signs his full name to a vellum Naval document, appointing B.S.B. Darlington to the position of Midshipman on 14 June 1834. Retains large royal Navy Department seal at upper left. Measures 11.75'' x 9''. Three holes at bottom edge, folds and discoloration, overall good condition with holes able to be matted out.
