Mid-1800's short sword, of the type commonly used in Mexico. Brass grip distinguished with two hallmarks and the maker's mark, ''Joestt.'' Sword measures 29'' with a 23'' blade. Wear to blade and mild overall oxidation, overall in very good condition.
