Norman Rockwell original drawing of a whiskered dog smoking a pipe. Drawn within a first edition of his 1946 book ''Norman Rockwell Illustrator'' signed by the legendary Americana painter. Inscription next to the drawing reads, ''My very best wishes to William Hamilton, artist, sincerely / Norman Rockwell''. Volume includes 208 pages loaded with both black & white and color illustrations, measuring 9'' x 12''. Lot also includes a landscape painting by the recipient William Hamilton, a California painter. Some chipping on the dustjacket, which is very good. Book is near fine.
