Gwenn expounds on his love for the city of Edinburgh, Scotland: ''...You do not say when you are going to Edinburgh but I am sure you will love it...you may miss some of the creature comforts so prevalent in American homes, but the City itself is so beautiful, so rich in historical associations & so surrounded with the most fascinating scenery that - like thousands of others - you will undoubtedly come under its spell and build yourself a storehouse o of memories that will last you for life. The University has turned put some of the finest medical men in the world. I owe my life to one of them...you will find grand rugby footballers among your fellow students.
