As President, Dwight D. Eisenhower signs his full name to a Naval document, appointing Fred A. Bantz to the position of ''Under Secretary of the Navy'' on 5 June 1959. Large silver Department of Defense seal is affixed to the document at lower left. Document is co-signed by then Secretary of Defense, Neil H. McElroy. Measures 15'' x 11''. Light toning and creasing to corners, very good condition.
