Emmy award presented at the 1987 Primetime Emmy Award ceremony. Emmy was won in the category of ''Outstanding Costume Design'' for the two-part miniseries ''Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna''. The iconic winged woman holding an atom stands on the convex, grid-lined surface of a round metal base, plated in 18k gold. Flat perimeter of base reads: ''THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES''. Plaque is engraved with 4 lines naming the award, its category and recipient: ''1987 PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS / OUTSTANDING COSTUME DESIGN FOR A MINISERIES OR A SPECIAL / ANASTASIA -- THE MYSTERY OF ANNA PART 1 / DECEMBER 7 1986''. Measures 15.25" in total height with 7.5" diameter base and weighs 5 lbs., 13 oz. Repaired break to one of the wings, resulting in slightly asymmetrical wings, otherwise near fine, with a lustrous finish.
