Original rhinestone belt buckle worn by the character Judas in the 1973 film adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice rock opera ''Jesus Christ Superstar''. Nominated for two Golden Globes and recognized by the American Film Institute as one of America's most inspiring movies, the film tells the story of Judas and Jesus' conflict in the week leading up to Jesus' crucifixion. Large belt buckle measures 4'' x 4'' and features rhinestones in varying sizes affixed to a silver-colored buckle. Some smaller stones missing and light wear to rear of buckle, overall good condition.
