Legendary WWII General George S. Patton, Jr. sterling silver trophy cup won by Patton for his victorious performance at the Tuxedo Horse Show at Tuxedo Park, NY on 1-2 June 1934. Patton rode his Hawaiian-bred chestnut gelding Hukupu, who carried him to victory not only at Tuxedo Park but also at the 1933 West Point Horse Show. Cartier brand sterling silver cup contains engraving to front reading, ''Tuxedo Horse Show / 1934 / Officers Mount / Won by / Hukupu.'' Bottom is hallmarked ''Cartier'', ''Sterling'' and ''8158''. Measures 6'' tall and 3.5'' in diameter at the opening. Light wear and tarnishing. Near fine. With an LOA from the family of George S. Patton, Jr.
