Carl Sandburg signed first edition of ''Abraham Lincoln, The Prairie Years'', two-volume set published by Harcourt, Brace & Company: New York: 1926, from the sixth printing. Half-title page of the first volume is signed by the author, ''Carl Sandburg'' in black ink. Volumes are bound in dark green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spines. Each measures 6.75'' x 9.5''. Both volumes show light toning and pencil notations to front free endpapers. The second volume also shows cracking to interior hinge between the front free endpaper and fly-leaf, and a light stain to the front board. Near fine overall.
