English football legend, Ernest Needham's WWI medal awarded during his army service. The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry medal is engraved to verso, ''48934 Pte. Needham E.'' with a sterling silver William James Dingley hallmark. Also engraved ''RD 572827''. Measures 1'' in diameter, sterling silver medal weighs 17 grams. Minor tarnishing, else very good.
