Partially-printed warrant details discharge terms for the Land Forces, and also the pay for Staff Sergeant John Perkins Hill, giving him, ''ten shillings a day for his half pay as a Staff Surgeon to the Forces having served upwards of 20 years and permitted to retire in consequence of ill health from 25th July 1811''. With a large and bold George PR'' signature at top, measuring 3'' x 2.5''. Countersigned by War Secretary Lord Palmerston. Card-style document measures 7.75'' x 12''. Folds and smudge to signature, else near fine.
