Military document signed by President Benjamin Harrison on 7 January 1892. Large document appoints one Everett E. Benjamin as First Lieutenant of Infantry, countersigned by Secretary of War Stephen Benton Elkins. Measures 15.5'' x 19.5''. Accompanied by metal plaque with Harrison's biography, measuring 7'' x 5''. Very light toning, folds and minute tear along center fold. Very good plus condition.
