Civil War document uniquely signed by numerous Confederate Generals. 18 August 1863 document requests twenty days of furlough for a soldier, with the touching request written to the right half. Generals Leonidas Polk, Thomas C. Hindman, Braxton Bragg and Zacariah Deas lend their signatures to the left half of the document, approving the officer's request. Also signed by Major Kinloch Falconer and others. Measures 12.5'' x 8.25''. Small tears to bottom and light wear. Very good.
