Addressed to the Director General of the Antiquities Department (Pierre Lacau) and written entirely in French, correspondence translates: ''I have the honor to transmit herewith a snippet from the Arabic Journal 'Al Siassa' from 13 February 1923 entitled 'Lord Carnarvon and the Tomb of Tout-Ankh-Amun...'' Letter bears the stamped signature of Moh. Osman, Secretary General, a date stamp of 20 February 1923 and a stamp reading, ''Office Copy''. Single page letter measures 8.25'' x 13''.
