Lot includes a five page typescript outlining ''Ideas for Concluding Chapter of Mazo Book'', with content such as ''This would answer the question: Why am I a Republican? and: What have Republicans to offer the country today?'' It also touches upon ''Peace and the Cold War'' with ''...Here develop your ideas on firmness toward the Communist ideology and tyranny...'' The outline concludes, ''Close with a strong profession of faith in the democratic process and in the wisdom of the people; their willingness to sacrifice for worthwhile causes, etc. Why you are proud to be an American''. 5pp. outline measures 8.5'' x 11''. Lot also includes three typed letters signed by Mazo, addressed ''Dear Mr. Vice President''. Letters discuss remaining topics for the book.
