Dated ''3/9/01'' on his ''Stafford House, Dunbar, N.B.'' letterhead in Scotland, Wingate writes, ''...leave me out...if you are making up a shooting party as I have not shot for many years & feel sure I could not 'hit a haystack'. I shall bring my golf clubs on chance of a game...Reginald Wingate''. 2pp. letter measures 5'' x 8''. Chip to left side, overall very good.
