Duchess of Windsor Personally Owned Medallion Commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II

Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor's very own silver jubilee medal. Silver medallion features a bust of Queen Elizabeth II in profile, commemorating the 25th year of her reign on 6 February 1977. Coin is mounted to a decorated loop, suspended from a white grosgrain ribbon with red and blue striping. Measures 1.25'' in diameter. Some tarnishing, but near fine overall. Housed in a fitted case with silver gilt lettering to the lid and Royal Mint stamp inside. Provenance from Sotheby's 1987 auction.
