Sir Sean Connery's ''hero'' belt and prop pistol from ''League of Extraordinary Gentlemen''. The James Bond actor stars in this superhero film in a leading role as Allan Quatermain, a retired adventurer coerced back into action to prevent a weapons manufacturer from instigating a world war. After filming, Connery announced his own retirement from the movies. 2-part lot comprises: (1) brown leather ammo storage belt, with compartments all the way around containing rubber bullets painted metallic. Belt by Silver Junction Trade Company. Measures 46.75'' from end to end. Three compartments do not contain bullets. Near fine; (2) prop pistol made of solid rubber painted black. Measures 9.5'' from barrel to hammer. Abrasion above trigger guard, else near fine. Provenance from The Prop Store of London.
