Letter is addressed to a Mr. Samuel Ungerleider and reads in part: ''Dear Sam: I want to thank you for your gracious letter of December 21st. I regret to say that my schedule in the foreseeable future is such that I do not have an opening for even so pleasant an occasion as lunch with you...'' Signed ''Dick'' in blue ink. 1pp. letter measures 7.25'' x 10.5'' and includes original envelope marked personal. Near fine.
