Unique lot of mementos from the honeymoon of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, including 17 original candid glossy photographs. The newlywed couple sailed on the ''Brittania'' through the Mediterranean on a 16 day tour after their wedding in 1981. Taken by the ship's official photographer, the photographs feature a rare candid look at the newlywed couple. Copies of the photographs were only distributed to members of the Royal Yacht Co. crew, done so to reward them for their hard work on the tour. Tunic has a navy blue uniform collar and two separate Brittania blue logos stitched to each sleeve. Short-sleeved shirt features the ''Royal Yacht'' logo stitched across the chest. Also included are a larger photo of the yacht, mounted inside a brown folder with a gold crest, and a printed letter on Buckingham Palace letterhead sent by Prince Charles thanking the crew for their dedication on the journey. Lot also includes a commemorative map of the couple's journey, measuring 10'' x 7''. Each of the candid photos measure 6.25'' x 4.5''. Tunic and shirt measure 17'' across the chest. Folder housing photo measures 12'' x 10'' and letter measures 7.5'' x 9.5''. Lot is in very good condition overall.
