Contract signed by comedy legend W.C. Fields for his 1935 film ''Man on The Flying Trapeze''. 6pp. contract, dated 21 March 1935, is stapled inside of a white paper cover and features Fields' signature to page 5, signed in bright green ink. The notarized contract recognizes Fields as being the sole author of the film, referred to as ''The Flying Trapeze'' in the contract. ''The Flying Trapeze'' was the original title of the film, based upon the short story of the same name, written by Fields under the pseudonym Charles Bogle. Measures 8.75'' x 11''. Three light folds and slight toning. Very good.
