WWII American Red Cross Poster by Jes Schlaikjer

Original Jes Schlaikjer Red Cross poster from 1945 stating, ''Your Red Cross is at his side''. The American Red Cross actually began its aid work in World War II before the United States entered the conflict; at the request of the U.S. government, the Red Cross set up a Blood Donor Service for the armed forces. Poster measures 22'' x 28'' with chipping and tears to edges and small areas of paper loss to bottom and left edge. In good to very good condition.
