Telegram is addressed to the Minister of Public Works, Antiquities Department in Cairo, and originates from the ''Winter Palace'' at Luxor. Content reads in full, ''referring permit fifty-seven please confirm is available twenty first january instead fortynth as stated. Joseph Riches Winter Palace Luxor''. Scattered notations including one bearing a 1924 date and one that reads, ''This was for a Press View + cannot be changed''. Measures 10.25'' x 5.75''. Toning, else near fine.
