Original 1920's Junior American Red Cross poster, with a boy holding a copy of the ''Junior Red Cross News,'' a popular publication that made its debut in 1919. After World War I, Junior Red Cross members continued shipping ''Friendship Boxes'' overseas and began exchanging letters with young people in other countries. 14.5'' x 22'' poster is affixed to foam board with props for Red Cross display. Minor chipping, else very good.
