Martin Luther King, Jr. printed sermon from 1956, and two programs from additional speaking engagements. Sermon is titled ''The Death of Evil upon the Seashore'', delivered on 17 May 1956 at the ''Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine'' in New York City, in commemoration of the second anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education. Runs 4pp. and measures 6'' x 9''. Lot also includes a Talladega College program for a sermon delivered by MLK on 31 March 1957 and an ''Address to the Chicago Sunday Evening Club'' from 12 January 1958. Each measures 6'' x 9'' and runs 4pp. Staple holes to top of sermon and pencil notations to back cover. Very good plus condition.
