King George V autograph letter signed on Windsor Castle stationery, dated 20 June 1905. Addressed to Lord Horace Farquhar, ''Master of the Household'', letter reads: ''My dear Horace, I am so sorry to hear that you are again laid up. I am afraid that the last fortnight, when you had so much to do over tired you. I can't tell you how we miss you here, & just this week of all others which I know you enjoy & when you can see all your friends. It is certainly very bad luck. But I hope you will soon be all right again. Please don't think of answering this, I only wanted to tell you how much we all missed you here. Always yr sincere friend / George''. Two pages, written on the first sheet of card style stationery. Measures 4.75'' x 7.25''. Toning to right edge, else near fine.
