Typed transcript of a television interview held with Robert Keeshan, also known as ''Captain Kangaroo''. Transcript comes from a half-hour interview Keeshan had with WHIO-TV of Dayton, Ohio on 2 December 1974. In the most forthcoming moment of the broadcast, Lockwood asks ''...What is Captain Kangaroo to you...?'' Keeshan replies ''...The Captain is what I am really / his feelings and the way he approaches life / We are one and the same person...'' Typed transcript contains numerous redactions and corrections, written in blue ink. Measures 8.5'' x 11''. Near fine. From the Bob Keeshan estate.
