Vintage 1961 CBS Television Network marketing material, personally owned by ''Captain Kangaroo'' Robert Keeshan. Unique item is a portfolio containing a paper doll set issued by CBS. On the front cover is the paper doll, and within, six different costumes with perforated outlines are ready to be punched out and put on the doll. Costumes are labeled, ''Comedy / Drama / Western / News, Pub. Affairs, Sports / Variety & Personality / Mystery & Adventure'' and designed accordingly. Copy within the portfolio is written to advertisers that might buy commercial time on the network. It reads in part, ''...punch out your favorite television styles and uncover the network standings in each program category...'' Portfolio measures 11'' x 15.5''. Some separation along perforated lines, else near fine; all pieces are still attached. Housed in the original mailing envelope sent to Keeshan at his home in Long Island, New York.
