Athlete Signed Album for the 1955 Funeral of Sports Editor Arch Ward -- With Signatures of Two of Knute Rockne's Four Horsemen -- Also Signed by HOFers Paddy Driscoll & Joe Stydahar

Athlete signed album of attendees at the 1955 funeral for famed ''Chicago Tribune'' sports editor Arch Ward. Among those who signed the ''Memorial Record'' book are Harry Stuhldreher and Elmer Layden, two of the ''Four Horsemen'' of the University of Notre Dame's 1924 football team coached by the legendary Knute Rockne. Football Hall-of-Famers Joe Stydahar and Paddy Driscoll also attended Ward's funeral and signed the memorial book, which bears over 1,000 signatures. The 7'' x 9'' book, bound with a tasseled cord, is in very good condition.
