Sandy Koufax signed yearbook from Lafayette, his high school in New York. Koufax inscribes his classmate's yearbook beside his own photo, ''to [illegible] Good Luck + Best Wishes for the future. / Sandy''. Koufax is pictured in his senior year on the baseball and basketball teams, and in a photo from his being voted Class Athlete. One segment reads, ''Lafayette, having a young, but promising team, has developed some of the future greats of basketball. The most notable player is capable SANDY KOUFAX, who has been scouted and will most likely be a future professional basketball player...'' Beside each senior's photo is the grad's goal and future college; Koufax cites his as, ''To be successful and make my family proud of me''. Ultimately the UCLA-bound basketball player became a baseball player for the University of Cincinnati. Unpaginated book measures 7.75'' x 11''.
